Art and music are a wonderful means through which deeper understanding can be created between people with different experiences.
This year we have a wide array of performances covering a variety of mediums including; art, music and spoken word. Notable performers to be featured in the event will be spoken word artist Boonaa Mohammed, dubbed by some the “voice of a generation,” and with various slam poetry titles credits including winner of the 2007 CBC Poetry Face-Off “Best New Artist” award.
