“In My Bubble” by filmmaker Natasha Moloo is the winner of the 2010 Mosquers Awards for Social Conscience.

Some members of the Western Muslim Initiative attended the 2010 Mosquers awards and were simply taken by Natasha’s sincere video on her inner spiritual struggle as a Muslim. With the permission of the Mosquers and of our Speak Free partner, Al Hikmah, we have reproduced the video here and we ask you to view the video with an open mind and to provide your comments.

The 2011 Mosquers Awards are happening on October 29, 2011 in Edmonton, AB!

I really and appreciate the fluency of the sketching during this video .
In my understanding ‘Jihad’ as undestood by the outer world is Muslim fundamentalism and kill people to make it happen, but where I connected with this video was ‘’ struggle with inner self to find the meaning of ones life ‘’ is Jihad that probably all the prophets wanted common man to understand and propogate . With time and human politics the parameters changed to the present day terrorism .It is now our ( present day youth’s) responsibility to reachout to the true meaning then fight and kill!!

I remember this movie. It was actually decent compared to the rest of the crap submitted. I was disappointed with last year’s Mosquers. Literally half of the movies that were submitted and shown were embarrassing to watch. The other half were pretty good. Good Job Natasha.

Hopefully this year will have an increase in quality.
